Choreographer turned actor Salman Yousuf Khan is mainly recognised as the winner of India’s biggest dance reality show Dance India Dance Season 1. He is very talented choreographer and has done choreography for Yana Gupta in Season 4 of Jhalak and Isha Sharwani in Jhalak 5. Salman Yusuff Khan has won the 6th Season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa alongside Drashti Dhami.

Salman's Biography

Salman was born on 12 June, 1985 in Bangalore, India. He has completed his schooling from International Indian School Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Later he has done mechanical engineering from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore. From childhood, he has a dream to be a dancer. He got trained himself in different dance forms like Salsa, and Hiphop. During the graduation he has worked for different dance groups in Bangalore. He won the dance reality show Dance India Dance Season 1. After winning the show, Khan appeared in the title song of Wanted. He then did the music video “Dance Of Death” for the movie Rakta Charitra and in the video “Alive” (2011). He appeared in the film Sukoon – Vaishali Made .

Salman Yusuf Khan started his professional career dancing in Dance India Dance. He had even done choreography in different Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Seasons. He along with Dashti Dhani won the Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 6. He even worked in the movie ABCD (Anybody Can Dance). Salman Yusuf Khan upcoming movie is still awaited. He will be choreographing and acting in several upcoming bollywood movies.

Salman Yusuf Khan also met with a serious accident at Big Star Jhandu Entertainment Awards. He fell off the platform to the top of building constructed with metal pipes, while performing with Remo D’ Souza and Prabhu Deva.  He broke his right arm and left leg. His forehead was injured badly. His performance was replaced by his cousin. It took three months to him to get recovered. Salman Yusuf Khan also took part in Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 5, which was hosted by Rohit Shetty. He was one of the most versatile and consistent performer of the show.
